Firm brings 80+ years of experience building companies both as investors and as founding operators.

Entrepreneurial fellowship managed in partnership between Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Activate, an independent non-profit organization. Since 2015, Berkeley Lab and Activate have supported 56 fellows who have gone on to generate more than $100 million in funding to support their work. Unrelated to Activate Capital in San Francisco.

Initial investments of $250k to $750k ($400k is typical first check) in pre-seed and seed-stage companies and reserves 2-3x that amount for follow-on at Series A and later rounds. Focus on capital efficient business models requiring less than $50M of total equity financing. Invest in early stage, typically leading the first institutional round. Leverages operating experience and an extensive network of Venture Partners and strategic advisors to support the companies they invest in.

Invests in innovative companies providing technology and services to enterprise customers, with a special focus on the power sector. $148M raised in for most recent fund.

Invests in sustainable consumer goods, advanced recycling technologies and the development of the circular economy. Also has an accelerator, The Center for the Circular Economy. Retailers, manufacturers, food and beverage makers, and CPGs make up their LPs.

Venture investing organization within Exelon Corporation, the nation’s leading competitive energy provider. CTV invests in companies representing innovative energy technologies and business models, building a portfolio that represents a broad range of development stages and technology types. Intent of firm is to engage with technology companies that have the potential to complement or disrupt Exelon’s core businesses

Prossano is an impact investing platform that believes that returns don’t have to be sacrificed to create impact. With this premise in mind, Prossano invests in companies that are sustainable (those with a profitable business model that can attract capital to scale and create a large impact) and that look to make an impact ( those producing a product or service that has a positive effect on the planet or society)

Focuses on infrastructure, real estate,m and private capital. Also specialises in liquid market solutions, providing multi-asset portfolios, liquid alternatives, active fixed interest and tailored overlays for clients. Manages $60B. Suitable for funding a large pipeline of projects.

Invests in high-growth companies creating a healthier, smarter and cleaner future. Experienced venture capital investors who have been at the forefront of impact investing since 1999. Team has invested in over 60 ventures, bringing time-tested perspective and expertise to partnerships with entrepreneurs.

Techstars and The Nature Conservancy are seeking for-profit entrepreneurs with commercially viable technologies that can rapidly scale to help sustainably provide food and water and address global issues like climate change.

Focuses on startups solving city problems. Prioritizew founders’ success in delivering, rapid, scalable, positive results.
