Apple is set to add alternative payment support for its App Store in SK, following a new law that bans app marketplaces from forcing their own payment systems.

Private equity giant Carlyle Group bought a 10% stake in logistics company Hyundai Glovis Co Ltd worth about 611 billion won ($510 million).

A consortium led by South Korean electric carmaker Edison Motors Co has agreed to acquire the debt-laden SsangYong Motor Co Ltd for 305 billion won ($254.65 million).

With this investment, the two parties will embark on projects that aim to pursue the possibilities of developing AI-enabled public portfolio management systems for SoftBank.

The company said more than 500,000 domestic farms use its services through the “Farm Morning Smart Farm” app.

Japanese convenience store Ministop is pulling out of SK and will instead focus on its home market, it will also sell its business to local conglomerate Lotte for around $267M.
