WHAT CAN HANOI ROSE HELP TO REDUCE FOOD TAKEAWAY CONTAINERS?

You are welcome to:

  1. Bring your own containers and/or takeaway bags when you order: be prepared to wait while we make your order.
  2. Wash and re-use containers for your next takeaway meals or for your other storage.
  3. Bring your own serving bowls, sauce bowls, deep dinner plates, clean carton box or food trays so can place your food in and place them straight in your provided carton box or tray.
  4. Order our FAMILY or SHARING meals when possible and make an extra payment being a deposit for our bulk food grade containers when you pay for your order. Return the thoroughly washed, undamaged containers to Hanoi Rose to receive a full refund of your deposit. You can also keep those containers for your next orders if that’s easier for you.
  5. Recycle the containers responsibly by putting them in appropriate bins at home.

We are a new bottle, formerly a wine bar restaurant. We have pivoted to help keep our staff employed and keep our business alive. We have since created a small community store of local retailers products, with all sales going directly to them. (Currently stocking Bread from Wildlife Bakery, Chocolate from Ratio Cocoa, Soap from Brunswick Soap House and Tea from Alem Tea House.)

WHY SUPPORT US? -Every purchase helps us (and others ) to try to save venues/local businesses and keep staff employed! -Prices are cheap (equivalent or cheaper than large retailers) -There are a few bargains for items we have over-stocked. -Each product has been carefully selected for quality. -Our team will be onsite to help guide you (at at distance)

WHO WE SUPPORT? We have repurposed half of our shop (our booths and some tables) into mini “pop-up” stores for local Brunswick retailers to sell their products. It is primarily focused at stores whose trade has been negatively impacted by the current situation and who may no longer have access to their retail space. Each store retains 100% of their sales. We also offer a free community library as well as working on some new concepts.

We will be closing our restaurant dining as per the directive and will keep our takeaway service open. Orders can still be placed via Ubereats or Deliveroo for home delivery and through Ubereats for PICK UP. Our menu will be current on each of these platforms.

We also started a pay as you feel initiative to play our role in flattening the curve. Everyday, we make vegan meals to be delivered within the community. we wanted to address a few things that have changed at GOODdays recently.

Our family has been keeping close eyes on the global situation currently unfolding. We’re taking extra measures to ensure we are adhering to Government advice including:

Extra cleaning measures in the restaurant including sanitisation of high use areas throughout service, hand washing after handling all crockery, glassware, cutlery and every 15 minutes. Frequent cleaning and waste disposal taking place in all areas.

We’ve introduced an indoor capacity limit in line with the most recent density rules. This will fluctuate depending on staffing each day and displayed on our front door each morning. We would also like to invite our loyal customers to follow us in bringing along your cards or devices as contactless payment is preferred.

Our phone line is always open to give us a call if you’d like to drop by and collect some takeaway.
