As a Agile Coach, you will work in a global, multicultural, collaborative, fun, and agile work environment. You will teach and coach teams to properly apply the Scrum framework, through demonstrating deep understanding of Scrum values, practices, and agile principles for creating high performing teams.

What does the role involve?

As an Agile Coach, you teach, mentor, influence, and contribute to designing a strategy for organizational adoption of agile. You guide multiple teams along their agile journey while maintaining focus on business objectives. In collaboration with the organization’s leadership, you support a user-centric and responsive Digital business vision in alignment with overall corporate goals. You influence the organization’s timely completion of complex initiatives including: creation of new products and technologies, evolution of existing products, customer applications, and product line extensions. You collaborate throughout the organization, with customers, and stakeholders to identify feedback opportunities for continuous team improvement.

The Digital Platform team, at our two locations in Boulogne-Billancourt, France and Texas, USA, consists of 130+ team members in 11+ scrum teams working with the newest technologies to create a unique user experience for Hilti’s extraordinary products and services.

The Sr. Agile Coach will educate Cast at all levels, including senior, and at times vendor partners, on Agile principles, providing them with tools for implementing the process in their own work. You will provide training sessions and teach valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide sustainment of Agile methodologies.

As a mentor, the Sr. Agile Coach is responsible for guiding teams into the Agile methodology, providing Cast with feedback and means of improvement, catalyzing organizational growth and answering questions. You will provide hands-on support to all Cast, collaborating with people across widely varying levels and roles, leading teams toward further understanding and adoption of Agile as well as overall company growth and improvement.

The Sr. Agile Coach is responsible for designing and implementing a strategy for the organizational sustainment of Agile. This includes every stage, from new Cast on-boarding education, to fostering teams and cultures that practice Agile, to sustaining Agile methodologies and continually offering strategies for improvement. This task entails implementing Agile process, principles and practices across all levels and departments in an organization. The Sr. Agile Coach must use techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation. In order to do this, the Agile Coach will also embody the Agile principles and actively lead by example.

The Sr. Agile Coach will develop teams into high performing teams that create business and customer value. You represent the culture. You coach teams in consistently performing the Agile process and you coach the Scrum Masters and Product Owners on Agile Leadership. You show your added value using objectively verifiable and transparent reports about the professionalism of the Agile way of working and about the development of team performance.

As Sr. Agile coach, you will be responsible for leading customers in their journey to adopt Agile methodologies as their new way of working. Our teams will look to you as a strategic partner and thought leader as they continue to transition to Agile delivery methodologies as a means to innovate and deliver breakthrough experiences on behalf of our Members. This role is expected to deliver tangible solutions using lean principles, iterative agile development, multi-functional teams and lightweight development concepts. The role of a Senior Agile Coach will be to apply agile methods to assemble and deliver user-friendly solutions and experiences across key Member journeys at Partners Federal Credit Union (e.g. Apply, join, deepen, etc.) To be successful in this role, you should have prior experience handling end to end delivery with specific experience in managing projects that use mobile technologies, open source and cloud technologies and, crucially, will have practical agile development experience.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • 7+ years of delivery lead, hands-on work experience as Certified Scum Master / Coach (Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Concepts) delivering Agile projects (planning, execution and team management).
  • 5+ years of large-scale Agile transformation and delivery. Highly proficient in Agile practices and able to clearly coach teams and programs at varying maturity levels.
  • 5+ years of relevant financial industry experience
  • 5+ years of strategic program and/or project work experience
  • Subject matter expertise related to Credit Union Operations and/or technology preferred
  • Proven experience, with a successful track record of delivering, using iterative / Agile methodology (e.g. SAFe / LeSS / SCRUM / XP)
  • Proven knowledge and experienced in the technology field, technology project delivery.
  • Effective and efficient trainer that inspires students with a proven ability to teach new concepts to challenging audiences, continuously teaching teams how to handle and execute against increasingly challenging goals “Performing with Flow”.
  • Direct experience coaching and influencing when teams are not co-located.
  • Proven facilitator that can lead sessions and workshops driving commitments, accountability, and deliverables. Candidate should possess Executive Level Presentation Skills.
  • Demonstrated exceptional critical thinking, strategic planning, and process management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple software development lifecycle methodologies (focused on Agile, Lean).
  • Experience conceptualizing and teaching “Systems Thinking” ie. Holistic approach to analysis that focuses on the way that a system's constituent parts interrelate and how systems work over time and within the context of larger systems.

  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Previous engineering management, product management or product design experience, especially in an Agile environment, a plus

What You Will Be Doing

As a Product Owner in TUI’s Mobile App product team you’ll help to enhance our TUI mobile app to increase customer satisfaction, commercial performance and speed to market.  You will:

MANAGE THE PRODUCT BACKLOG:

Work closely with the Product Manager to develop, refine and prioritise the product backlog for an area of the app.  Translate high-level product roadmap into achievable product backlog items.  Provide insight for defining and planning the overall Product Roadmap based on specialised knowledge in your area.

DESIGN & DEVELOP SALES BOOKFLOWS TO DELIVER INCREASED REVENUE:

Drive the design, development & delivery of best-in-class app search & book flows for the tour operator, hotels, airline & destination experiences as well as associated ancillaries to enable the app to drive increased revenue.  Ensure buy-in and alignment with markets and App Commercial & Marketing. (Focus depends on App selection)

DESIGN & DEVELOP IN-APP SERVICE SUPPORT TO DRIVE NPS:

Work with stakeholders from markets, hotels, airlines, cruise, destination experiences & service centres to define core service scenarios that’d work well in the app; design, deliver & measure them to ensure they drive usage, customer satisfaction for the specific areas and NPS overall. (Focus depends on App selection)

DESIGN & DEVELOP MERCHANDISING & ENGAGEMENT FEATURES TO MAXIMISE USAGE:

Drive the design & development of advanced merchandising and engaging content features to maintain customer interest & usage, and to help people move from upper funnel towards booking.  Ensure these can be maintained & operated effectively by markets and Mobility Hub. DELIVER NEW FEATURES:

As the Product Owner for assigned areas of the app, drive feature delivery through one or more scrum teams and other delivery partners both inside & outside TUI.  Collaborate with UX & UI designers to develop best-in-class user journeys & designs.  Compose User Epics, User Stories & Acceptance Criteria to a high standard, covering not only happy paths.  Work with development teams to establish and document technical details needed for user stories.  Work with QA, test & release teams to ensure all features are of the highest quality and timely. 

MONITOR AND DRIVE KPI PERFORMANCE:

Take personal ownership of relevant KPIs and ensure that all developments are aligned to drive performance and have clear metrics, tracking mechanisms and targets.  Highlight under-performance of metrics and develop plans in the roadmap and backlog in conjunction with the Product Manager to address these.

The Digital Product Owner for Family will be responsible for own and improving the digital sales performance for the Family Segment. About the Role 

We are looking for a highly motivated Product Owner who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment and lives to delight the customer. 

We launched our Taxis team two years ago with the goal of becoming the best way to get to and from the airport. We started offering airport transfers on booking.com while also building our direct business, rideways.com. You will be responsible for leading, coaching and motivating scaled Agile teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in line with programme standards. You will be responsible for delivering continuous improvement using SAFe methods in a fast-paced environment.

In performing the role, you will be expected to use a high level of knowledge and experience of SAFe tools and techniques to fit large, complex, mission-critical, enterprise-level projects, with the appropriate level of planning and providing the right balance of Agility, predictability and pragmatism.

In addition to your prior experience as an RTE, your background will include having served as a senior Scrum Master or Agile coach in multiple successful SAFe projects which will ensure that you are capable of leading continuous improvement and quality, typically to deliver a specific product or transformation via multi-disciplinary, highly skilled teams. You will help define delivery needs and enable resource to be appropriately allocated. You will be core to decisions that build high performing teams, where people are excited about the work they are undertaking.


Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• SAFe Program Consultant – (RTE certification highly desirable – SPC4 or SPCT with experience in launching at least 2-3 Agile Release Trains).
• Strong experience working with multiple clients establishing Release Trains, mentoring Portfolio, program and product teams.
• Understands how to work in a bimodal and distributed environment using SAFe.
• Experience working in scaled Agile environment as RTE or Product Manager with a multiple teams.
• Experience leading Agile teams as Scrum Master or Product Owner
• Strong solution orientation with high business focus and innovation mindset
• Strong and demonstrable facilitation skills and experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills, critical thinker, and self-starter
• Superior communications skills with all levels of employees and both internal and external customers-including presentations, negotiations, and written reports
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining view on the strategic direction and being as detailed as needed. Willing and able to get down in the details to make things happen
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully with demanding schedule constraints and technically challenging programs
• Exposure to the following technologies an RTE, Scrum Master or Product Owner
• Java/J2EE.
• Web Services, Web APIs, and microservices
• SQL and NoSQL based solutions
• Cloud deployments, containers, and continuous integration
• SOAP and RESTful services.
